JON & KATE: REAL OR FAKE?

Admittedly, I have been watching Jon & Kate Plus 8 for a few seasons now. The cuteness of the kids initially pulled me in, then I was hooked with the funny/ridiculous moments of the show including Kate's behavior.

After babysitting my 4-year-old cousin for just a couple hours, I CAN NOT imagine having six of them...I don't condone the way she acts towards her husband, and in fact my personality is the complete opposite of hers, but I can certainly empathize.

I don't know if the cheating rumors are true, and I am not believing anything because in this day and age who knows. I do know that the season premier scored almost 10,000 viewers. It would not surprise me if this was all a hoax and they are just in it for the money and viewership.

I will continue to watch the show, I think the kids are too too cute and it is just mindless entertainment. If the drama is real then I suspect it will be the last season. I think if it is real they obviously shouldn't have agreed to another season (since it is being said the the trouble is 6 months in the making).

Reality TV is never real, all TV is staged and nobody knows what is really going on behind the Gosselin's closed doors....they are probably laughing all the way to the bank.

RELAX

One of my favorite things to do to relax is to have a nice hot cup of tea. I am enjoying a cup right now, and the touch of lemon I added is making it extra yummy.
Tonight is one of those nights that I just want to curl up in my bed under my big fluffy blanket and watch TV all night.
I am leaving Sunday to spend my summer in Manhattan and I can't wait to live with my best friend so we can watch all our favorite TV shows and go shopping and enjoy NY life.
I am also so so ready to see my boyfriend; these two weeks have felt like an eternity. I can't wait to cuddle and be silly with him.

HITCH HIKER

I picked up a hitch hiker the other day.

Well, not really. I was driving on my way to the beach when I saw this old lady at the corner of my street. She flagged me down and asked if I knew where a particular grocery store was (she was headed the wrong way). After I told her it would take half-an-hour to walk there and I had no idea where the bus stops were her look of defeat killed me, so I offered her a ride.

She said no but then I convinced her, it was real hot. So she got in my car. I was pretty confident with my decision until I had a flash of, "what if this is a crazy grandma and she is going to take me for all I'm worth."

Luckily no such thing happened and she even left a few dollars on the seat that I found later.

I am still undecided though. Was it a nice thoughtful thing for me to do or a dangerous what the heck was I thinking thing to do?

REFRESHING

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO

I have been home since Monday and this is what's been going on.

Starting with my trek home...it was awful. I greatly underestimated the amount of clothing I own and my suitcase weighed more than me (two others confirmed this). I am still sore.

So far I have broken my house alarm and a toilet.

My friends wrote a script to make a movie and I am in it; I am Cassandra. I am told it is loosely based on reality, and if that is the case than I am "too nice" that it is annoying. Hmm, either way the material and scenes are pretty funny.

Kris Allen won American Idol. I was surprised, but it was a very good surprise. I would like to say that I'm not going to watch Idol next year, but then I would be a liar.

The Bachelorette began and I have to say, I didn't find that many of Jillian's options too desirable. If I were her I could have narrowed it down to five guys just on the first night.

Today I planted over 250 tomatoes and then some zucchini and green beans and beets oh my! On the upside I did a bajillion squats and lunges and spent some quality time with some men in my life. The downside, on more than one occasion I put my hand in cow manure...and it was warm- ewww!

My bedroom is a disaster area since I have yet to touch any of my stuff since getting home. It seems so counter-productive since I am leaving in a little over a week. Maybe I will get used to having to step over and on top of things to get around.

The dentist told me I have an itty bitty jaw followed by, "Wow your tonsils are huge!"

I had to reschedule a doctor's appointment, and the next available date they have is in February...at 8 a.m.

I am getting a new phone tomorrow. I like to refer to it as my adult phone.

The long weekend would be much more fun if I had work or school to have a day off from.

I am really excited to get to New York.

MOVING ON UP

So, I hate moving. I hate having to take everything from where it belongs, pack it up and then have to reorganize somewhere else. College of course is the worst for this. Four years of moving...blah. I am in the packing process now, but I have a lot of stuff so it takes a while. I will be home for two weeks and then have to go and bring all my stuff to NY. Then come August I will be moving into my apt. in Boston. I have enough trouble with just a room, I can't imagine a whole apartment.
I am really excited though...for all of it! :)

MY TUESDAY DESIRE

I have been coveting these Chanel Joaillerie Ultra rings for a while, the black one in particular. Although I know it will not be mine for a long while, a girl can dream!

I have the urge to just jump into a pool and swim under the stars.

GET FIT SUMMER '09

My best friend has declared summer '09 as- Get Fit Summer. I figured I would go along with it and even got motivated today to try and get back in shape. I went on a 4 mile walk along the river and through Boston. I really enjoyed it, until I got back and sat on my bed, and I haven't moved since.
At what point does exercising start making you feel good and give you energy? I have "been in shape" before and no matter how many miles I run I never actually feel good and I always want to take a nap after. It also speeds my metabolism way up and I devour everything.
The whole working out thing is really counter-productive for me, this is one thing I am not making any promises on fulfilling.

A PURRFECT SLEEP

Dreaming about beds all day yesterday made me so tired that come bedtime I fell asleep before my boyfriend, which is rare.
When we woke up this morning he told me that I was snoring, which is even rarer!! He is usually the snorer. I don't like to think that I snore, and if I do, I'm sure it's much more of a purr.
I still think he fell asleep first and just dreamed the whole thing :)

Don't you want to just crawl inside and say "goodnight world"? This looks so lovely and is exactly what I want to do right now.

Check out more comfy beds and beautifully designed rooms here.

I started messing around with the html stuff and my lack of geekiness kicked in and I did something that now makes it now impossible to change my header...ahh.

I will fix it though, and it will be better than ever :)
